Waiting for Spring!

It has been a really long time since I have blogged, this pregnancy has me in a constant state of exhaustion and most days I spend on the couch knitting away and watching Netflix. On that note I have to say how grateful I am for my husband to work so hard for us so I can stay home comfortably. I am so very grateful for everything life has given us so far this year and we are happier than I think we have ever been. Life is easy and I feel so lucky for that!
I have gotten many crafty things completed lately, too many to list them all but here are a few things...
I finally finished this sweater for my lovely husband but it came out a little short which frustrated me to the max! I even knitted it longer than the pattern called for....Oh well it is nice in spite of that!
A little booby hat I made for the baby just today, turned out sooo cute!

Here is another little hat for the new little one (when she FINALLY arrives :)) modeled by Isabel's baby! I absolutely LOVE this hat too.
Here is a little sweater dress I made for Isabel with some yarn she picked out awhile ago, she is also wearing a hair clip she made all by herself :)
These are just a few of the things I have gotten knitted....As far as sewing goes I haven't completed too much other than cloth diapers and....

Up close of the girls...

A little quilt I made inspired by the old children's book called My Sister and I. I love how it turned out...Isabel says it is her by herself and then with Charlee and then with her new sister which I thought was a cute observation from her. Her intelligence surprises me all the time!
I also made Isabel a little Valentine's Day skirt to wear to school....
She was super excited to wear it and made her Valentine's box for school with the same fabric so she could match! She is such a clever girl!
My next project which I am starting tonight is the Kate Davies' Owlet sweater for Isabel in some beautiful Cascade 128 Superwash that I bought recently on Ravelry. Isabel picked the color...
And I must say she has great taste! The yarn it sooo soft and the color is amazing! Now I just have to wind it and what a pain in the neck without a yarn winder! I have to put two chairs together and wind it on my thumb. So far I have gotten one ball wound and it took me forever as I got it into a giant knot somehow when it slipped off the chairs! UGH!
I have recently become obsessed with ordering stuff online since I live in the middle of nowhere and hardly ever get to go anywhere...I ordered some yarn from KnitPicks for my booby hat and was really happy with the quality, it was so soft! I also ordered this book...
Full of fun stuff! I am planning on knitting the little baby doll in it and the Russian nesting dolls for sure! I really love this book! I need to put in another order for the yarn for the baby doll :)
Well I need to go rescue my poor dog from Isabel's love...hehe.
:)
